Workbooks built from lived experience - not a textbook.
These aren't self-help books that tell you to breathe and journal your feelings. They're the resources I wish I'd had when I was in the middle of it - honest, practical, and written for people doing the real work of healing.
I'm Hollie Marble - a library worker, writer, and perpetual work-in-progress living in rural Colorado. I've spent years making sense of things that didn't come with instructions: abuse, grief, compassion fatigue, codependency, raising kids while carrying your own stuff, and trying to figure out who you are when the chaos finally slows down.
I don't have letters after my name. What I have is a lot of miles on this road and a deep belief that healing doesn't look like the glossy version. It looks like showing up to the page on a Tuesday when everything still hurts and writing your way through it anyway.
CompassCreations is my independent publishing imprint. Every workbook here is written by me, from experience, for people who are tired of being told to "practice gratitude" when what they actually need is to feel less alone and do some honest work.
I also run a journaling class at my local library, manage our community programming, and somehow find time to drink white chocolate frappes and survive Southwest Colorado winters. Welcome to my corner of the internet.
Packed with journal prompts, exercises, and worksheets that don't sugarcoat what healing actually takes.
If you've spent years doubting your own perception, this one's for you. Honest prompts to help you name what happened, reclaim your reality, and start rebuilding.

The blog where I write about what I'm actually thinking - survival, healing, the stuff that doesn't fit in a workbook. No polish, no performance. Just honest writing from someone who's been in it.
